Three individuals have been arrested and charged following a major drug, cash, and jewelry seizure in Picton, Prince Edward County, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The operation represents one of the largest drug enforcement actions in the area for 2025.
Details of the Investigation
On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, around 7:00 p.m., officers from the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), assisted by the Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and local Prince Edward County OPP detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence on Evans Street in Picton.
During the raid, police seized:

Over 190 grams of suspected cocaine

12 grams of suspected ecstasy (MDMA)

More than $15,000 in cash

Approximately $20,000 in jewelry

Additional items linked to drug trafficking
The bust is believed to have disrupted a significant local drug distribution operation and reflects the OPP’s continued focus on combatting organized drug crime in rural communities.
Arrests and Charges
The following individuals were arrested and charged:

Trevor Hennessy, 40, Picton — charged with possession of Schedule I substances for the purpose of trafficking, possession of prohibited devices, possession of proceeds of crime, and fail to comply with probation order.

Brianna Skuffham‑Connolly, 22, Picton — charged with possession of Schedule I substances for the purpose of trafficking, possession of prohibited devices, and possession of proceeds of crime.

Brandon Wanamaker, 37, Milford — charged with possession of Schedule I substances for the purpose of trafficking.
Hennessy and Skuffham‑Connolly remain in custody pending a bail hearing, while Wanamaker was released and will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date.

“Through coordinated multi-unit enforcement, we were able to dismantle a drug trafficking operation that posed a serious risk to our community,” said an OPP spokesperson. “We continue to encourage residents to report any suspicious activity, as community tips often help prevent and solve these crimes.”
Local business owners and residents welcomed the arrests, noting that the operation highlights the OPP’s commitment to keeping small communities safe from organized drug activity.
